When dealing with safety window films of 6 mil or greater, it is imperative that the squeegee blade has very little flex to facilitate adequate mounting solution removal. The narrow design allows less squeegee blade to protrude from the handle which serves to stiffen the blade. This Blue Max blade was designed specifically for these safety film applications and should be considered a must for any substantial security window film work.
